I am a dog lover and pit owner and don't live anywhere near a ghetto. I walk My dog daily And We run into dogs all the time and have had at least a dozen dogs bite & try to bite My dog and She has never responded aggressively. To lump any breed of dog together is like saying everyone of a certain race acts the same way. If You want to shoot a dog for running across Your lawn then that's on You but it's an arrogant view!

I own 2 American bulldogs. 1 is 100 pounds and the other is 120. I walk them all the time in my neighborhood. I do not let people pet them unless I know them or if my friends come to my house. People are always ignorant and say oooh damm dey sum big ass Pitts. Then they either run or ask oooohhh do dey bite? And I say they haven't yet and no u can not pet them. I trust my dogs more then most people. If you are a dog owner do not put yourself in a position where something like this could happen, don't let anyone touch them.
