Bristol West is a "non-standard" subcompany of Farmers. DO NOT expect stellar service from them. If you want better claims service pony up the extra premiums to pay for State Farm or AAA. I don't expect Bristol West to change their payout, especially since their method is in compliance with the CA DOI. You're asking for above and beyond what is required from them and I seriously doubt they will heed to your request. Be happy they're giving you NADA, which is typically higher than KBB (well, it used to be).
