BTW, there's ups and downs in the market. What economist do is follow trends, not day to day results. The question is, what has been the trend since "Barry" has taken office? The best predictor of the future is what has been done in the past. Check the books, and if you're still around at the end of his second term. I'll bring this thread back up to remind you of your thoughts. :-)

Wow, thanks for the financial advice guys. Maybe I should have you two as my financial advisers.
Of course I know there are ups and downs. I had a lot more money in my 401K before September 11, 2001 also. It took a long time to recover anything close to what I had and never came completely back. Then there was the market collapse in 2008 and another big hit to everyones savings. It slowely started to come back since then but I'm saying it's headed down again because of his re-election. Only time will tell and we can remind each other later on as to who was correct.
BTW, AL STOCK. I have never attacked you personally on this forum so if that "closet clown" comment was aimed at me then I say you can shove it up your ass pal. If it was a general comment then I misunderstood you and I apologize. Otherwise...where the sun doesn't shine.
