You're absolutely right, who cares what the media thinks. But I think we can start to care when other people start to react from what they are fed by the media. For example, if the media is feeding nothing but violence out of Oakland, certain people may not want to go to Oakland. In my opinion, the media needs to feed nothing but violence out of Oakland. This guy kills 12 people and it gets national coverage which leads to national support for the families of the victims. People start talking and looking at ways things like this could be prevented and place funding into these ideas. In Oakland this month, there have been more than 12 murders that go unheard of nationally. Put the word out there so Oakland could get the support and reinforcements that Oakland needs to take Oakland back. Send in the funding that these below poverty families deserve for their suffering of lost loved ones from gun violence. Put the message out there so people start showing their support and demanding change for the city.

I can't believe there is still racism going on in this country. But the reality is that people are still racist and most of us think racist but we know its wrong but we won't say it, and that photo as sad as it is, is actually right in some ways.

There is nothing to buy into it’s the truth! Trust me if he was a Muslim, he would have already been announced a terrorist and they would have claimed ties to some extremist group. Why couldn’t he be a Muslim with mental issues, oh ya its because all Muslims are terrorist. This luck bastard is “WHITE” so some lawyer will claim insanity and he will go to the mental house or some minimum level prison.
I don’t agree with things but its reality, Look as a Muslim the first thing that came to my mind when the shooting happened was “Oh god I hope he’s not a Muslim”…. Is it wrong, yes, but is it true, YES!

Valid point. When the army Muslim guy shot all those guys on the army base, the media look for terrorist ties. Does anyone know what terrorist group the army guy was tied to?
