Both are stock. Saleen handles likes it's on rails, Cobra got a little bit more heat being a cobra motor vs stock 5.0 in the Saleen.

Saleen handles NO BETTER than any mustang you drop on the bump stops, stock Saleen fox suspension is NOTHING SPECIAL! Cobra is a better car and will be worth more in the future.

You're right, the Saleen suspension isn't anything special. Compared to modern setups from companies like MaximumMotorsports and Griggs... but in the 80's and early 90's, when these cars were new, stock to stock a Saleen would run circles around a '93 Cobra...
nearly 5,000 Cobra's were made in 1993... alone. Around half that many Saleen Mustang's were made from 1984 til 1993... total...
As for the particular car the OP is looking at, just 238 Saleen hatchbacks were made in 1987.
If we were talking about the Cobra R, I could see it being more valuable in the future than a Saleen... but a non-R '93 Cobra?
