Nice 2.3 I also got a 2.3 The motor can take a beating. My valvetrain was beat on hard when my auto only had second gear and I had to take the freeway to get to work. Crused it a 55 in second. Commuted like this for 2 years. Since then a new transmission is in and running strong. The only things broken since I owned it were coil and waterpump. Ranger header fit perfectly.

I'm asking kuz I was thinking about getting another car to DD since I literally get pulled over for nothing at all. My car before this '86 was a '89 Honda CIvic N I sold it to a guy around the corner N I been thinking about buying it back but I was also thinking about a 4cyl. Mustang. Oh N maybe setup a race against yours the Honda will hit 7k rpms problem. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Here's some better daylight pics. The paint really shined up nicely after buffing it with some paint cleaner. Now I plan to repaint all the trim and molding and I'll be done!

Yes some late model rangers ,not sure what years, came with factory header. I put one on my 88 that I had and took the pre-cat off. Not really sure if it made a difference. It was an auto so it was super slow anyways.
