Topic: for the fishermen....lets see some pics of your catches

Did some crabbing this saturday outside the gate. Did ok. Mostly rock crap and some dungeness. No bites on any fish though. Tried for rock fish but no luck. Cooked up the crab last nite and it was off the hook!
I really really want to get a sturgeon tho.

Too be honest I was shocked to land 3. We were out there from like 12pm-4:45pm.

Did you go out and drop some pots if so were abouts duxbary area north bar or? And rockcod are all over the Marin coast and farallon islands....you got a boat Bro or was you on shore?

Yeah we dropped about 4 pots for about 4 hours. We were hoping for better but hey, it was only our second time in many years that we tried crabbing. We went out about 3-5 miles past the gate and stayed along the rocks to the right (heading out the gate). We were on a boat. 26' bayliner. Thanks for the heads up on the rockcod!
