No complete stock push rod 5.0, Complete stock 4.6 GT 96-04, complete stock pre-03 cobra's will beat LS1's (Stock for Stock)

You won't win even if you had full bolt ons buddy... You need a blower/turbo/nitrous... H/c/I maybe... So long as they aren't whack gt40 irons stock...

not so true.. turbo50 built my brothers motor.. all bolt on's with edle heads and runs 12.5 on motor...

A near stock auto, vert, 5.0 isn't touching an ls1. Maybe if it started in third, but by 1/4 time you'll get sucked up like an anchor tied to you.
I ran my friends H/C/I 93 cobra on radials, from a dig he puts a car on me, then by third gear I'm sailing by him again.
It's 190 WHP vs 310 WHP and nearly same curb weight for a vert.
