Cant blame anyone for defending their business, in this economy all you have left is your reputation. ive never heard bad stuff about jaws,i would try them aswell but i live way far from them,ive heard great stuff about rearend specialist and outstanding work that ive persoally seen come ut of enterprise motorsports,so ill probably go with RS or enterprise,because its NOT abousaving a buck its about getting what u pay for,being cheap gahndi will get u no where

Jaws did the 4.10's in my '02 Roush about 2 years ago and ive never had any issues.

In all honesty....and speaking from experience...if you have a mustang and are upgrading the gears....only use Ford Racing.
This is from experience myself, as well as cars in my shop. The Ford Racing units will not make noise unless they have been installed wrong, or the owner has not followed proper break-in procedure.
We only use FMS gears on all of our gear jobs.....and warranty them.

just to make this thread a lil more informative.. are all gears set up the same?? why is it 390s can be nosier?i can see how shorter gears can be more problematic but why would 390s be harder to set up right then 410s?

Bottom Line, it's the cut and finish on the gear that makes the difference as well as the setup of course. Set a 3.90 and a 4.30 next to a 3.73 and 4.10 ratio and you will see what I am speaking of. The tooth combo's and cuts are totally different.
And for those that missed this earlier in the thread, just because it says SVO or Ford Racing on the box does not mean Ford manufactured it!

Wow I forgot about this thread.. And I missed Jeff come on here and cheerleade for himself a lot.. Well I'm not going to clog up the thread with useless arguement but I will set the record strait..
First off I never said anything about motive gear and them manufacturing for ford racing gears or not.. That's not the point.. I simpily said that I only use ford racing gears and have NEVER had a set whine! And we all know ford won't put a gear in a car and warranty it and having the confidence that they will last the lifetime of a car without doing their homework first..blab ur mouth all u want ford racing gears are the only gear anyone with any sence will put in their ford car/truck.. Sorry I can't include u in that..
2nd I made my one and only mistake using u guys for the 9" we took to u.. Im sure u can recall the huge argument that came of it when he picked up the rear end that almost ended all bad for u but we call it a lesson learned and went our own ways!
3rd before u go bashing 4.30s I'll prove to u and the rest of cafords that the set of 4.30 gears I did in a IRS cobra do not make any noise at all so don't go bashing the gears before u check the install.. Yes the cut is not as good as the 3.73 or 4.10 and I know the cut is bad on the 3.90 and that's why ford don't sell the 3.90s.. Simple as that.. And i will NEVER install a set! If they can't stand by the gear they won't sell it.. So once again stick to the quality gear sets!
And last who cares that u do 25 gear sets a week.. Want a cookie.. I work on real cars and build real motors everyday.. Sorry my life is not only dedicated to doing gears! That makes u better than me.. When u can build a motor that don't run off rice and sit in a real American car then come talk to me.. Ur Chinese excuse for a motor don't impress me and I'm done with u and ur girlfriend DAVE! She gives u a discount when u give her one huh... Lol everyone loves a happy ending!

I know casey you found out i can spell for shit just rember two things casey the right cam goes on the passenger side an the valve wont hit the pistions if put it in right an your mom an dad gave a womans name so guess they know a soon as you were born you were going to be a bitch
