read his post he needed a 4x4 to make it through the snow. I wouldn't leave that task to some 4cyl. And trust me the Toyota v6 gets pretty good mpg mine get 22-24 highway
the fj cruiser is rated at ridiculously low mpg.
and dont underestimate 4x4 4cyl

I tink it's rated around 20mpg??? It doesn't matter since if my wife would have agreed I'd have a h2 right now!

Nice ride. I found some cool fj pics online. Definitely needs a lift and some M/T MTZ tires. Lots of potential!!

check the facts most fj's get around 20-23 highway mpg
and i could give a fuck about a 4cyl 4x4 unless it was a straight rock crawler or mud machine and if thats the case then it most likely has really high gear ratios. but im not gonna turn op's thread into an argument.

Hello:
No not lost. Talking Toyota, GM, Ford now Mopar. I'm not the one who originally posted about the FJ. I have to say that I would rather own a FJ than any Mopar Jeep. Never owned a Ford 4X4 they are nice but $$$$. Just responding to the OP
Should watch my six? Thanks for the "Welcome"

Ya I would have loved a lifted f250 diesel, but I couldn't find a nice one and the deal I got on the fj was great so I couldn't pass it up!
I drove it last night when I got home and I love it all I can say is "let it snow, let it snow"
