There are plenty of food challenges around Sacramento.
We should have a specified day and have all the members on this board who think they can do it, take a shot!
I have a co-worker that is savage.. He does these challenges FOR LUNCH. Ya..
There is a new restaurant in Citrus Heights called Buffalo Wild Wings. You have to eat 12 wings in 6 mins. The catch is that their sauce is RIDICULOUSLY spicy.
He pounded it TWICE. 3 mins the first time and 1 min 27 sec the second time.
Then, Parker's Hot-Dogs in Roseville has a knucklehead challenge. Five 10" hotdogs with buns/chili/cheese and fries. Adds up to 5lbs+ of food. You have to eat in 20 mins. The guy from Man v. Food was there. He couldn't finish. Ya.
Then, there is a Pho Challenge at Hoa Viet off Bradshaw. 2lbs noodles, 2lbs meat and broth in 1 hour.
I think out of all the challenges in Sac, Parkers hot dogs is the hardest.. 5lbs in 20 mins is a REALLY fast pace.

I think my boy 86-50 could do It . He ordered 24 Rolls to him self got his plate I had one I think . Next couple min I look there gone hella funny

Yo Suki Sushi is my favorite Sushi spot in south sac. Its hella underground, & cheaper than Mikuni's, but just as good IMO. Plus its not crazy packed which I like because I can get a table right away...
