I'm looking for a shop near hayward that can rebuild my rearend. I think I need a new carrier bearing and maybe some other bearing(s) due to a weird "whooshing" noise I'm getting. Any recommendations?
I did a YELP! search and found a shop called Pete's Gear shop in Hayward. Anyone have any experience with them? [ August 05, 2010, 02:51 AM: Message edited by: SydeWaySix ]

Ian, one other thing you may want to try is to spend the $50 and get the driveshaft balanced, just to rule it out rather than spending $400 for a rebuild right off that bat that won't guarantee a fix.
