Paramedic is a job requirement some places, doesnt mean that they will teach it in the academy. If your going through American River or the JPA in sacramento there is seperate class, but im pretty sure its not included.
i stand corrected! thank you 70mach351! now i will be attending the october course for emt basic in roseville campus. its over just in time to start arc fire academy! thanks again! i would have been set back 3 months if you didnt say anything!

I took my medic class through foothill college about seven years ago and worked for amr in santa clara county. Now I work for an emergency department as a nurse. The hardest part of your medic class will be your internship on either an ambulance or a fire box car. Study your a/p before your class begins and keep studying your meds as your class goes on. If you need any info or help throughout your program then email me at kidmedic80@yahoo.com and if you need someone to precept you durning your emergency department clinicals then I can do that. Let me know. Just be prepared to have no life for about a year. -Chris
