ok............i see your point there, but those cars are made for it, to take the beaten.
your average stock notch is something else. then you want to sell it because some how it started to burn oil or needs a new rearend.
i do research and double check everything next time i buy a fox. thats just a rule of thumb because you dont know who went sideshowin for weeks in that car.

The chances of you finding a Fox that hasn't done donuts is about the same as finding a senior in high school that isn't a virgin! I doubt this car is in any worse shape than one that has been street raced. Who cares about beating your own car up? If you own the car, have a semi safe place to do it and aren't putting anyone's family in jeopardy then it shouldn't matter what you do.
I guess, lol [ August 07, 2008, 02:27 AM: Message edited by: CLEEN 50 ]

Donuts are weak....now figure 8's. I love those. Though haven't done them in quite sometime. I'd probably hit every car in a 1 block radius if I tried them now.

Donuts on street tires arent hurting the car at all. They are cheap cars because they are shitty old Mustangs. They are cheap garbage cars. Some may be nicer than others but you cant change what they are. If anyone says that there foxbody has not been abused the are going to hell for lying. To date, Ive done donuts in every car I ever owned. These arent Lambo's. Although Ive seen those doing donuts too. By the way, never buy a used car from Dream cars in Vegas. I heard the Ferraris and Viper there have been swung too.

foxbody's especailly with v8 -for those that are ugly - are just a step or two away from being tight az cars -

I guarantee he currently owns more foxbodies than you..
I have owned probably 8 or 9 and one thing is for certain, they are not even close to being a quality car...
they are easy to make fast and BEAT THE CRAP out of!!!...why beat on one?...because it doesn't take much to rebuild it either from a work stand point or money stand point....
like buying a CHP/SSP Stang ---people love those cars but 90% of them have been beat up since day one....but yet people ride their nuts....
it's a Mustang...not a Ferarri.....donuts, burnouts, and drag racing are what they were built for!!!!

Somebody forgot the easiest tip for the beginner. Make sure that you are completely stopped, and turn your steering wheel all the way to one side, then do all of the clutch work. And yes, figure eights are way more fun than donuts. Although, I have seen some people hit other cars and go into ditches trying them. That open spot seemed perfect for swinging them. I don't even remember the last time I have done a donut or figure eight.

LOL ferraris from the 80s were mostly crap too. You put enough money into any car and it will improve the quality. Just depends on how much you wanna spend

well if you read oyur own post the latter doesnt specify why foxbodys are crap cars.....
my point was that if YOU think they are crappy cars why would you keep buying them ??
if your reason is to beat the crap out of them - you can really do that with any car - not just foxbodys ......
and we arent talking corvettes , or any other car than a foxbody ......

Cheap, easy to find parts,
and I know everything about them and can build one with my eyes closed. minus the rear gears (hate dong those)...
oh and the Fun Factor -- no car is more fun to drive than a Foxbody...mostly because you can beat the crap out it and if it breaks, it's easy and cheap to fix...oh and even with high HP, they are easy to control ion a spin...
and I never said crappy...they are just not good quality cars...not sure how you can argue if they are good quality cars....besides the engine....brakes, suspension, interiors...all pretty much who had the lowest bid on parts... [ August 08, 2008, 05:52 PM: Message edited by: jordan_0806 ]
