real happy with it. it runs smooth ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) its an auto but for 300$ i couldnt pass it. 88 with mass air.

ok well one of my buddys works for a junkyard place and they found this poor thing on the freeway with 3 shitty rims on it and no keys to the car so they diddnt know if it would start. Who ever owned it, the tire fell of on the freeway and slid on the rotor.My buddy calls me up and says, give me 65$ to tow it to your house and you can part out a this mustang and ill tow it to pick n pull after,so i asked to look at the car first.When i seen it I was like ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) ill buy it!lol
I had pony's sitting in the garage since i just did 5 lug on my lx and had a steering colum with a key and fixed other little things on it. Still had the air silencer too!
But The first day when I got it I put on the ponys it was at night so I just hand tightned them since I still needed to to put the steering colum to start it the next day. Well I put it on, car starts up good, I wash it and my cousin comes over with some pony caps since I diddnt have none and I forgot all about tighting the lug nuts ![[Frown]](frown.gif) Later on that night the back driver Wheel falls of on me on the freeway but we find the wheel with no damage 1 mile away. the wheel cylinder busted but fixed it. I havnt registerd it. hope it is a clean title, if not really dont care, i mean 300 bucks

Thats The last that it will ever happen again.lol I was just exited of having a gt again.lol I drive it to work and back , no problems. engine light does go on and off but ill get to that

they said they talked to her and her boyfriend use to drive it and was under her name, and that she diddnt want it back. so it sat ther for about 2 months

Good find, I think it is a low mileage 88, it still has the stock square port mass air meter on it, you dont see many of those 88s with stock mass air still on it with high miles, too many problems with the square port, so people had to change over to the oval port setup like on the 89 and newer Mustangs.
