I personally know a few people that are CO's and dont have good credit. This job will help you to have the money to fix those credit problems though!

alrite thanks guys.I been thinking about corrections for the longest time.And i want to get in,i know i can pass everything else, just my credit ain't all that great.

If Dept of Corrections is similar to other agencies, then your credit report and score do matter. If you have defaulted on any of your loans, mortgage, revolving accounts or claimed bankruptcy then it will hurt your chances of getting in. These agencies want people who can manage their money because it shows responsibility and maturity.
