Ya, sure the judge will think it was real safe.......
We both have a good idea how Judges think
Unfortunately Brandon is dead on correct
You will lose your license. You really need to step up and take responsibility for what you did. You did an extremely unsafe thing in the rain. You passed a cop, c'mon man. Step up.
No, it was for a good reason, it was a safe unsafe lane change/pass, i was ONLY going 15mph over the speed limit ETC........
Yea, I know im going to lose it. I was just wondering what else might happen, and how long I would lose it for.
i had a similar situation, not the same cited stuff (still multiples) but i had my cdl for 21 days, if i hadnt proved the cop wrong, and all the charges stuck, I would have lost my cdl for a month, according to the judge
and I have to ask, why did you pass a cop in the center lane
was it unmarked or some other type of car

For sure. After the sitation I havent done anything really. I usually stay 5 mph under the limit now just cause I get pulled over for everything here. It was a stupid thing to do, but I had just got my license and was trying to show off. Lesson Learned.

It was a fucking undercover impala . I remember always seeing that car and saying you would have to be stupid to fall for that crap. I didnt know it was a cop till I was turning into my friend Complex parking lot and there were lights right behind me.

The judge will ask you to hand it over, and to come back in a certain amount of time to probabbly get it back

If you lose it don't expect to be able to drive away from the court. Heard of a few people who got caught by the judge on their way out. Take someone who can drive you home.
As far as getting it back, I think the DMV notify you, and you have to go to a local DMV to get it back etc.
At least, that's what I witnessed in Fremont when I was getting my CA DL.
