Get a honda for a commuter. Save the money you would have spent for the SVT focus. Might be an SVT but it is still a focus

If it's the one from Swanson Ford... No. I've already turned it down. The salesman told me flat out 'Oh we had to do SO much work to get it to pass for sale', after I asked why they wanted 2G's more than KBB. *adding* Not to mention that it was paint chipped to hell & the inside had scratches all over it. The shift knob, the e-brake, ect. [ October 05, 2005, 12:24 PM: Message edited by: 03SHKER ]

to answer your first question I would need to know the year.. but without knowing it I would still say its a bad idea. wholesale on that car is roughly $9,300, that is if its a 03.

You sure you want a manual tranny for a commuter car? I swore I'd never get an automatic, but I'm lovin' my auto in heavy traffic. Even more when I go up to the city. Eh, maybe I'm just gettin' old and my clutch leg is tired

02 for SVT for $13k is not a good deal.
Get something dependable and AUTO. Saves some headache during the commute/traffic.

i have excellent credit, well over 740 score and I found that ebay was only offering me a 9.49% fixed APR when I was looking for cars through them. You can find dealerships that will go, as low as i've seen, 4.2%. Go with a dealership APR in my opinion.
