Input needed. E303 cam on stock 302 block with stock heads, roller rockers, push rods and lifters??? Good idea??

Keep the stock cam, or do the heads n an xcam

+1 on keeping the stock cam in this situation. All you will really end up with is a little lope in your idle and no real measurable performance gain. Save your time, money, and effort on a good heads, cam, intake setup.

Good heads with stock everything else will make you feel an improvement. Whatever heads you do better than stock, will add power. GT40s work but you can get more. Do heads then the rest. Hard stuff out the way and everything else gone be butta

If the car is an AOD, IMO it is worth the upgrade if you're willing to freshen up the surrounding accessories and add a set of 4.10s. I don't think the upgrade alone is worth it unless you're seeking the sound.
