Is there any difference in the 98 cobra cranks than the 2004 mach1 cranks

I believe the Mach 1 auto cars had a less desirable crankshaft.. The 96-98 ones where pretty good as I was building a turbo car for myself but ended up selling the motor that Now makes 1300 hp.. It did some minor cleanup to the stock cranks seems to be working quite well..

Yeah its a 8 bolt manual mach1 crank

Was wondering if the dimensions are the same as is bearings and rods

Dimensions are the same. Only issues you run into are with your block choice. Main bearings are specific to the block.

OK that's good what is the best aluminum block to use have a 98 cobra block and a stock 04 mach1 block what's the difference and why going to stroke And bore to 5.0 and plan on spraying 250-300 shot with high compression

I'm going with ported c heads/ custom crowler n20 cams and/ ported stock intake will have 13:1 compression and plan on spraying a 250-300 shot
