I am porting and polishing the 165 AFR heads and wanted to see what you all thought about my intake situation. I have an Edelbrock Performer intake as well as a cobra intake. What are your thoughts on best intake for this application?<br /><br />I was also thinking about having the intake powder coated inside out. Because the plenum has the removable plate it could completely coat all the way through as well as lower. Now this may be a stupid thought as I'm not that knowledgable but seems as though a faster easier way to smooth runners for flow. Has anyone done this? Am I off my rocker? Would it be as beneficial as polishing?
