I have found a deal on most the parts I will be needing to do the swap; but want to confirm something before finalizing. My car is an automatic car, so is it correct that since this is so I would not need the manual transmissions computer? Also it is missing the manual transmissions wiring harness; do I need this? Thanks any help is appreciated.

I've seen people use auto computers in a manual no problems. Manual transmission harness you do need. Also the oxygen sensor harness needs to be changed if I remember correctly.

Can use a auto ecm. An you can jump the neutral safety switch.
If you use 5sp ecm you have to change the 02 harness.

What would be the jumper wire placement on the sensor side of the harness?

I left the aod computer and jumped the Neutral safety switch . I rigged my reverse light sensor by cutting up the molding around the cables . Just as a quick fix. It worked. But I would eventually purchase one. They not that much. Good luck. [ 2018-08-09, 10:30 PM: Message edited by: WANARNM ]
