I have a 1994 ford ranger and when I slowly depress my clutch it does not disengage from the disk. When I snap the pedal to the ground it disengages. I can even hold the pedal down and it will stay disengaged. What could it be? Air in the line a bad slave cylinder? let me know.

Sounds like your slave cylinder is failing...Check and see if there's any moisture in the bell housing area....

Sounds like the cup in the slave master is shot. But if you see brake fluid in the bell housing you found the issue. But it sure sounds like a bypassing slave master. Normally when the release cylinder in the bell housing blows out it wont disengage at all. But if you have brake fluid in the bell that is a good giveaway it blew out. Well then you definitely have to pull the TRANNY. It is not very hard to do that clutch.
