I lowered my 2000 mustang, and put on aftermarket quad shocks, they are squeaking like heck and annoying the crap out of me. If I remove them will it affect the handling or ride of my car? Any info would help.

Thanks

10.5 wide, there's no rubbing, like a 1/4" clearance, they did start squeaking pretty bad after i put the wider tires on

The purpose of the quad shocks is to eliminate wheel hop. If you have GOOD lower control arms, you will not need them.

Just the stock control arms, I'll just deal with the squeaking, I don't want to damage anything

Sounds like the quad is rubbing on the wheel as it travels. Any marks on the quad to indicate it?
