So I have a 1986 mustang coupe with a 92 motor. It has hci full exhaust, long tube headers, 47lb injectors, 320lph fuel pump and a tune for all this. So sometimes when I'm driving and come to a stop light/sign the car acts like it wants to die and I have to give it a Lil gas to keep it going! It kinda sometimes did this b4 the injectors fuel pump and intake mani. But after I got all that installed it seems like it wants to die everytime I come to a stop if I don't give it some gas to keep her going!!
Any help or advise would rely help. I also have under drive pulleys ( alt, h20 pump, crank ). I'm wondering if the alt pulley has to do anything with this or maybe my tps sensor is going bad or even my idle air controll motor?!?!?

nope...probably none of that
idleing issues/surging idle are usually VAC related
i'd spend some time looking at ALL of it, not just what you can see....but the tree under the intake, the canister....ALL of it

How would it be getting too much fuel but not run rich?
Don't think too hard.. the problem is probably right under your nose

your extra fuel returns, so no
i doubt TPS, but check it anyways
yes, look for brittle lines, cracked lines...you wont always hear a line, you need to physically run your fingers over every inch. the trees too, at the firewall , and under the intake

I had the same problem on my 50 turned out being a bad ground wire. Check the wire on the back of your engine block and the one going to the block from your battery. Seemed funny to me easiest fix that i tryed last.

I dunno what the fuel pressure is while I'm driving. I don't have a fuel pressure regulator!! Um how would I check the tps voltage and what is it supposed to be at??? I'm actually thinking it might be the ground on the engine block. Becuz sometimes after I shut the car off even just for a minute it won't/doesn't start back up! And sometime I'll have to get it jumped just so it'll start!! Where is the ground wire from the chassi to the engine??

does your speedometer work? the VSS in the trans that the speedo cable plugs into, if not hooked up will cause it to stale when rolling up to a stop.

No its not hooked up to the speedo! But it is connected to the trans. I can't get it to plug in to the back of the dash. It's like it's to short or something

The ground wire is on the back of the motor. Mine had all these same symptoms and it was the main ground wire from the battery. It would crank slow then hella fast with a jumpstart. After i changed ground cable it worked like a champ all the time.

Well the ground wire is brand new almost on the battery. I have a battery relocation box in the trunk. So either it's not grounded good or it's the 1 on the engine block

for a trunk mounted battery the best ground to use is to run a 0/1 awg cable out of the trunk floor and attach it to one of the quadshock mounting bracket bolts on the rear frame rail, make sure to use a wire brush or grinder to scuff up the area where the cable will be touching to get good contact as well.
and when running a trunk mount battery, you'll also want to add a 4awg ground wire from the engine to one of the front swaybar bracket mounting bolts because the dinky little 16awg ground wire on the wiring harness is not enough once the battery ground wire has been removed.

I do have a 4awg wire grounding under the hood. I did however notice that it's grounded from the ps pump to the shock Pertch but it doesn't look like it was sanded or wire brushed so I'll try to get bare metal to show and hook it back up
