ok guys so im building a 306 with stock style pistons. the heads i have are afr 185's. i have a 600 cfm blow through carb and a paxton blower i will run. i know i will run a custom cam and prolly victor jr intake. what are your thoughts. on heads and the intake etc. etc. etc.

sounds like your building a high rpm screamer make sure the bottom end is up to par to turn 7k rpms

Sounds like a good start for a setup. Why carb'd though?
As far as the rotating assembly goes just get a good balance job on the stock crank and rods. Hyper pistons have a bad wrap but the last three motors I've done have had sealed power hypers and they have all handled 15 psi and are all still ticking strong.
F cams are good boost cams that can be found on the cheap.
Box style intakes love boost but are generally expensive. Most aftermarket intakes will work just fine since the air is being shoved down their throats anyway lol. [ February 16, 2012, 09:12 PM: Message edited by: Blubyu87gt ]
