my buddy has a 2000 7.3 with a edge tuner that he wants to sell, and i have a 96 7.3 with a crappy superchip that i wanna get rid of and i was wondering if the newer edge tuner will work in my truck?

Wut edge tuner is it? I'm pretty sure the cs and cts are completely different but the evolution mite work

no it will not work. Two different setups all together,
The tune would be wrong anyhow his turbo and injectors are bigger to start with let alone all the other things that changed.
Edge/flash tuners sucks anyhow for 7.3's

oh alright. i think im just gunna go with some custom tunes from dp. i hate this damn superchip.

I had sct flash tuner then switched to the dp. Dp is night and day difference. just a heads up, dont waste money on the drive through or cam tunes, wish i had that money back.. Lol i have stock,high idle, cam idle, drive through, 80 econo, 60 tow, and 120 for play.
I only have from downpipe back 4". Still original downpipe and intake so it actually runs best in the 80 econo because im maxed out on the factory downpipe
