auburn runs a clutch plate that is similar but different to a stock unit, but unlike a stock unit the auburn can not be rebuilt, it must be totally replaced. and some u have ta run special axles just for them, Detroit! does not wear out, no clutch's, never one legs.

+1 i have a ford trac-loc with the 03-04 cobra carbon fiber clutches and my car has posi both ways every time with 285 nitto drags on the rear

just curious but why would you go with the clutches over a locker? most people i ask that, say theyd rather have the clutches so the car "handles" better but they never do any serious racing at all outside of a straight line.

cheap, rebuild able,and very dependable! most real lockers require your other rear components to be just as tough,and most of the guys on here are not quarter mile champs that require a real locker or spool,or after market axels.
