I installed one in 68, but not sure about a 65-66<br /><br />it might be a better idea to go with a sn95 style T5. it will position the T5 about 5/8" further back and that would line up with the original shifter hole alot better. The T5 crossmember can be ordered as the conversion is quite common. I used a cable conversion kit from I believe Mustang Steve. I also converted the clutch pedal to a sealed bearing unit instead of the bushing stock type. The kit works great.
