I have a sn95 fan on my fox, I have it hooked up with a 75 amp relay, and a fusible link, and a switch. When i have the ignition switch on but the motor off the fan works perfect, but when i turn the motor on and hit the switch for the fan the fuse blows instatly. Any ideas ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

The fuse is on the wire from the relay to the battery

30 amp is not enough for the surge current of your fan apparently.

Even though it dosent blow when the car motor is not on? Do you think i might just need a bigger fuse in there

being powered by your battery alone may not be providing as much juice as the alternator does, but I don't know how you wired your fan.
I don't have a fuse on my fan in my `89, as there is no fuse on the factory fan of any car setup I've seen. Never had a problem with that, and it's been on the car for almost 4 years.
