A spool is a overkill. No street car needs it, very few race cars even need them. They are track only, IMO, and dangerous on the street. To each their own, but I guarantee a well-built Trak-Loc will perform to the level you need. As for axles, Moser all the way.

My car is a track only car. The reson for the spool is price. They cost alot less then any posi.

I'm not saying strange is low quality, I don't think its any better than Moser though. Moser is just alot easier to install.

summit has great prices on this. I doubt anyone can beat their pricing and still make a decent profit. plus their customer service is great.

Do you have to cut off the end of the tubes to install the c-clip eliminators?

Yes and this is vital if you dont want to have a leaker forever.
You could always put 9 inch ends on it.

+1 I buy 90% of my parts off summit and have for 12 years, if they can verify a price quickly on the web they will price match it. Last year I saw a manual flaming river rack with shaft at Laurel Mountain for 380$ but prefer to deal with summit due to customer service. I called them and in less than 2 minutes they price matched from 430$ down to 375 for me. That is why I continue to do buisness with them.
