My 89 Lx 5.0 gets alot of vibration at 55+?

i had the problem before on a couple different 5.0 it was always the u-joints. One way to tell is when you step on the gas it will go away a little unless it is really bad,and if its happen at 55 then it sounds like it is already pretty bad.

Not always the U-joints, the driveshaft itself can be out of balance.

mine did the same things changed the u joint problem solved. but could be an unbalanced ds

it is ur U joints, or an unbalanced driveshaft. it happend to me too. but it wasnt my tranny, its the u joints, dont make the same mistake i did by waiting, i waited to long, and ended up waiting 6 hours in SF for a flat bed.i say u get it fixed before its too late. take it to south bay drive lines. ask for steve.just dont wait on this problem especially if its ur daily driver.
