Sup guys, I went to the track and iwas told that i need a sfi cerified helmet if i run under a 14.00. I need a helmet but were do i get one from and how much do they usually cost? Thanks for the info.

just go to any motorcycle shop and but a dirtbike helmet i got mine for like 140

yep as long as its certfied i just got ur everyday HJC helmet from mach 1 in vallejo and they said it was cool

yeah mine says DOT and above that it says SNELL approved

IM not sure youll get the boot from any track running a 13.9 w/out a helmet, I have never seen it. But then again Im the track official at cummins international speedway. Seriously though I wouldnt sweat it.

I ran i 14. flat last time around, and next time i go out there i plan on using soem drag radials instead of street tires. so hopefully i'll get a little better time but i heard if i hit something faster than a 14 i will need a helmet, so i thought id ask before i went back out there.

Any Dot or Snell helmet should be fine. They never even looked at my helmet at the track, just made sure I had one.
