I'm debating between a UPR K-member, HAL (QA1) K-member or Maximum Motorsports K-member. Which is the lightest and best? Also is there any other brand to consider?
Maximum Motorsports is the cheapest (100), QA1 is about 210. [ February 09, 2005, 03:29 AM: Message edited by: Black Stallion ]

Where can you find a Maximum K for $100? If so I'll take 5. They usually go for $649. So if you can get a MM K for $100 take it.

Yeah, maximum motorsports are the best , but they're definately not 100 bucks. edit: your probably mistaking their k member BRACE for a k member. [ February 09, 2005, 09:10 AM: Message edited by: AJBlackGT ]

Maximum Motorsports is all I buy, great products and customer service, fast shipping, way better than any other company I have dealt with, if you can't tell.

the MM is the only one i'd trust on a street car, but it is not much lighter than stock. it does help with the front steering geometry though

AJE may be better than paracing, but paracing is the only place I know of that will allow the cutstomer to specify the use of chrome moly tubing instead of rolled/mild steel.

So I can get my kmember powdercoated the color of my car for no charge? That is a hell of a deal. The best I have seen is silver, black, red for no charge.

Ive had my griggs k member in my 5.0 for 3 years with no problems. If i had to do it again i would go with the AJE k memeber. Its cheaper and the quality is just as good.

for rear suspension griggs and maximum motorsports are one of the best. I have a griggs torque arm and panhard bar with mm adjustable lower contral arms. The Panhard deletes the upper control arms on my car since it is welded in to the frame. It really depends on what you want but you can't go wrong with mm and griggs. johnny

I wouldn't get a chrome moly k member. It may be stiffer, but it will also fatigue sooner than mild steel.
