just finley burnt my clutch in my 00 s/c GT.it lived a good life of 40k but i need to know what would be good app for me i have just a little over 400hp at wheels?i was thinking of king cobra clutch.

I would definitely say centerforce dual friction.. holds awesome

I think centerforces are garbage. I've seen way to many problems with them. I'd run a dual kevlar clutch bought locally in the south bay. They hold that power no sweat and have excellent pedal effort

dont go spec. i hate them...cost me like 3500 bucks. lo go centerforce or some other brand

$350. All I know is the clutch grabs. I think one side is organic, and the other kevlar.

Centerforce Clutches are HORIBLE!
Spec isn't much better.
I'm using a Mcleod now, and so far it is top notch.

King cobra here, I have used the same clutch on my blown 66 that went 11.4 @ 119 and swapped it over to my 91 347 when I tore the 66 down. Great clutch for the price. I have beat the s*** out of it on slicks. Still ok. It is amazingly how simple it is and how well it works too.

Hey we have a Dual Kevlar clutch that is made to our specs and that can only be sold by us, from our maker. We've held 700HP+ with this design.

I have this clutch mated to a fidanza aluminum flywheel and love it.
