Ok for starters i have a 95gt 120k miles. No probs ever, synth. fluid every 3k. The t-5 works perfectly, never powershifted or raced it. For mods i have a full exhaust(headers, h-pipe, catback), and a pro-m 80mm 30lb cal with 30lb injectors laying in the closet waiting for mods =). I wanna go either of 2 routes, H/C/I, or s/c(with maybe a gt-40 head swap in the future, i dunno im not gonna get ahead of myself.)
I have no knowledge of how to install either the heads or cam, intake i can do. Im looking at the TFS 360hp kit at 2k and i have no idea how much an install will be for h/c but im guessing 1k?
ive got a guy with a vortech v1 s-trim whos gonna sell it to me for 2100 and it comes complete with fmu, msd-6btm(yes the 6btm)AFM powerpipe and a BOV, he says i should expect 9-10lbs boost with small pulley 13-15 with large one. no t-rex in this kit. is my 30lb setup good enough to get a tune to not need that fmu. i really dont want to use the fmu. i got quoted 600 for a dyno tune and im sure i can knock out the install...or most of it at least.
Im totally stumped and deadlocked between the 2 so i need some opinions.

I am sure you can have someone on this board knock out the install for the HCI for a lot cheaper than 1k. I would go that route as 30lb injectors I don't think would be good for the blower Albert

I'd go the HCI route....
A blower on a 94-95 with 120k is probably not the best idea...Any problem you have now will only get worse with a blower...
Stock valve springs on a 5.0 dont last much past 100k, and lifters crap out and start to get more noisier too...It would just be better to get rid of those POS stock heads and have 300+rwhp without the boost...Trust me I dont think that a 94-95 on a 120k stock long block would last very long on 10 or more pounds of boost and the fact that a stock long block with an S-Trim would only make about 340rwhp anyway....
Tuning the supercharger will be more difficult than a HCI 302, but you'll still need a dyno tune with either set up as far as I'm concerned...
Go with H/C/I

Ya with them miles i think its smarter to replace parts than to add more of em. Although ive heard about people running boost(moderately) on 302s for extremely long times, its all in the tune.
But ya e7's are pos, sounds like a plan. For the moneys worth i like the TFS kit....anywho i gotta get some quotes on installing it tho =/. Ill try purplenotch, but if anyone can guarantee their work, shoot me a pm!
thanks all

Well, the 93-95 Mustangs have some weak ass Hyperutetic (sp) pistons that dont like nitrous or boost too much...86-92 Stangs, with forged pistons, runnin A trims and S trims last well over 100k....
There isn't that many thing better than a supercharged Mustang, but there are way better things than a broken supercharged Mustang...lol
On a personal note I always work on my own cars and if I dont know how to do something I'll learn, but I haven't heard one bad thing about Purplenotch...Wait till you see his notch's engine bay....
