I bought the 89 stang with a 5 lug conversion. Disc's in the front and drums in the back. I need new brake pads so what pads do I need for the drums? Any advice would help!!

First the "pads" for drum brakes are called "shoes" not pads...
Only take one side off at a time, so you can compare it to the other side if you mess up...Make sure to take the shoes with you when you buy the new ones...You can compare the old vs the new shoes...Shoes normally have a core charge too, so dont throw the old ones away, you'll need them....
The drums and shoes are most likely from a Ranger or Bronco II in the rear...

Any other opinions of what the rear might be?

Yeah, the drums are from a Ranger I bet. Get your shoes from AutoZone. Dirt cheap and a life time warranty!

When you replace those rear brakes I'm sure they can tell you what the part number matches.
