WantedCOBRA ¯ Member # 3150 posted                              I was just wondering what it is exactly that an aftermarket ignition can do for performance? Pull the spare tire the carpet insulation stock seats hvac assembly and inner bumpers power steering and ac. Posts: 899 | From: ca | Registered: Apr 2003  |  : Quick 88LX ¯ Member # 1950 posted                                 The basic ignition parts you will need to have a siiiiiiick electrical system is as follows: Ignition Box (6AL or better) with or without BTM Ignition Wires Distributor/cap/rotor/gear etc... Some nice Plugs Coil And after enough mods... A dyno tune with a custom burnt chip OR just pick up a PMS. I prefer MSD for my entire ignition but some people have great luck with other products. MSD is the shit and I noticed a nice improvement after installing all of these components. And if you really want to get performance with no airflow... Move the battery to the trunk. Actually over the right rear tire (or as close to it as possible) for the best traction on the right side of the car.
