SMOG LEGAL header x-pipe combo?<br /><br />2nd question. I called a few places to see what they would charge to install some headers, and they want close to 700.00 bucks. I've read on here that FMS's are legal, but when I bought them for my Cobra they weren't. Then again I have passed the visual 2x and never got hit for them.<br /><br />It is very expensive to get headers installed on a mod motor. L/Ts or shorties. Doesn't matter. If a shop quotes you a low bid, then they have never done it before.<br /><br />Get cats! Unless you pay someone off, you won't be able to smog it. In the mean time finding someone to cheat the next smog.
