If you guys had to put together a budget 306 shortblock, where would you buy all your internals? Obviously, I want all new parts, so please no junkyard suggestions.

Summit rebuild kit 2 somthin with hyper pistion and 496 with forged pistons inculed almost every thing u need

Back to the subject: I think I would call around to the local engine shops....Sometimes they can offer better prices than a retail store that just sells parts...
Otherwise, I would order through SUMMIT
