just got a autometer monster tach from my friend and was wondering what i need to to do to install it , it also has a shift light and im installing it into a 62 ford falcon, what wires need to go were?

red to power. blk to ground. green to distributor ground. the other wire to ur parking lights for it to light up too.

red should be to switched power right?

yeah ignition hot power, otherwise the tach is on at all times. not much drain though if the white wire is hooked up to dash lighting. if you cross the white to the red though, that would drain a bit.

should i have any problems with it considering i have no altinator my car has a generator just wondering , but thanks for the info fellas
