I see the X-pipe is pretty popular, what's the difference between your typical x and h's?? Does it matter what kind of mufflers you're running? Also, do you need to change your headers depending on?

"They say" X pipes don't like chambered mufflers like Flowmasters...but I haven't seen any dyno tests showing this.

they sound different.........thats about it..........some people will say different hp/torque gains, but thats Any changes will be do mostly to what brand, but x vs h will not change a thing other than sound

Whats up with smog with the X's? I've seen some sold with cat's and some without.

well if you get one without cats, there's no way it'll pass smog. One with cats should pass smog, but there's a slight chance you'dfail the visual. but this guy would have to know his stuff pretty well and be a dick. My buddies 98 passed no problem with a bassini x with 2 high flow cats. so not only is the pipes different, but hes only got 2 cats instead of 4. But like i said, only a small chance that you'll fail visual
