What should I do. Sportline or Progressive? I'll also be doing the caster/camber plates. Do I need to do shocks and struts or are the stock ones good enough.

You might as well change the struts/shocks all at once to save time...or if you are short on cash, your stock struts/shocks will last a little since yours is only a 2001. I had to replace my stock ones (48,000miles)after I installed FMS C-springs..so I got the Tokico Premiums..$300.

Have you looked into H&R springs? They are really nice! Maybe its just me but I'm starting to see more poeple on here with them. I am not sure if they are better then the sportlines but it was just a thought. If anyone knows which are better please do tell me cuz I would like to know.

I'm so happy with my griggs setup. Check out the web page for all their options. www.griggsracing.com. They make really top notch stuff.

Look Into H&R you will be happy. I would love to have all griggs to but the damn price. I am about to start saving for the coil kit. Does griggs make a strut brace? I havent been on there site in awhile or who makes a good one for a 97 gt?

The control arms I have are the lower set for the rear. http://www.griggsracing.com/ART/boxedlca.jpg They help out a bunch with launching and keep the rear really flat when cornering hard. I had them put on a few months ago when I got my tires, I think Apex had them in in about 30 mintues, so if you decide to do it later it's not that big of a deal, but its a very nice addition. I was new at this too and I talked to Bill with some of my ideas, and he helped me out and got me going in the right direction, told me what works and what doesn't, and didn't sell me anything I didn't need. I'm sure he's got a good list of parts for you, and you could build from there!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have that nasty IRS thing goin, so the LCAs for the rear don't seem to be an option in my case - only the Delrin Rear Control Arm Bushings & maybe Paul's IRS Pinion Support Brace. So besides replacing some on the bushings, gears, and new half-shafts I'm pretty limited to what I can do back there until the day comes when it's time to swap the IRS out for a live axle. Bill was cool - actually talked me out of one thing 'cause I didn't really need it right now (subframe connector full frame kit). He's got my business - he was very up-front about everything. I think I'll go with the original game plan for now - Griggs seems to be a nice way to go from the sounds of it.

Yellowsnake your from Livermore? After you have the coil-overs done hit me up, I am curious how they ride, and how the mount in the back. I live in town too, by the bowling alley. Just private message me.
