***CAR IS SOLD-THANKS CAFords!!!***
Well, the Mustang is finally done! And that means it's time to list it for sale. This car just passed Smog with flying colors, and has had a professional alignment since the installation of all the new suspension goodies. 90% of the parts on this car are brand new, and have only been once around my block to make sure everything works, and then back and forth to the Smog shop and alignment place.
Starting with a basic '88 Notch, I stripped the car to the bare tub, scrubbed and painted the entire underside of the vehicle, repairing minor cracks in the floor pan, welding seems, etc. Then I built the car, essentially from the ground up with the following parts.
Chassis and Suspension:
Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe Connectors UPR Upper and Lower Torque Box Reinforcing "Battle Box" Kit Maximum Motorsports Six Point Roll Cage Maximum Motorsports K-Member Brace Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Bar Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber Plates 2003 SVT Cobra Control arms with Urethane Bushings Flaming River Quick Ratio Power Rack & Pinion Maximum Motorsports Aluminum Rack Bushings Maximum Motorsports Collapsible Steering Shaft Maximum Motorsports SN95 Bump Steer Kit Koni Yellow Adjustable Struts Maximum Motorsports Front Coilovers w/500lb Springs Stock 4-Cylinder Front Swaybar w/ Urethane Bushings & Links Racecraft SN95 Dropped Spindles New OEM SN95 Hubs Baer Brakes 13" Front C6 Corvette Brake Kit Stainless Steel Front Brake Lines Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks Maximum Motorsports Rear Coilovers w/ 375lb Springs Stock GT Rear Swaybar Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Rear Lower Control Arms Edelbrock Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms Maximum Motorsports Panhard Bar Eaton Brute Force 31-Spline Clutch Type Posi Unit Tom's Kick Ass Fox Length 31-Spline Axles Trick Flow Rear End Girdle Baer Brakes 12.65" Rear C5 Corvette Brake Kit Stainless Steel Rear Brake Lines
Power Train:
90,000 mile '95 Shortblock with ported E7's Crane Compucam 2040 Cam & Lifters (Same as E Cam) Edelbrock Performer EFI Intake Manifold Edelbrock 70mm Throttle Body & Spacer Holley Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator C&L 73mm Mass Air Meter 24-lb Cobra (Thin Body) Fuel Injectors MSD 6AL Box, Blaster TFI Coil, Cap, Rotor, and Plug Wires MAC Ceramic Coated Headers Ford Racing Underdrive Pulleys 3G Alternator Upgrade w/ 2-Gauge Power Wire Stock 4-Cat H-Pipe (for SMOG) Spintech Catback Exhaust (Sounds Wicked) Summit Racing Aluminum Radiator Ford Racing Silicone Hose Kit Custom Wired Taurus Fan with Integral Controller Trick Flow A/C Eliminator Prothane Urethane Motor Mounts Stock T5 Transmission Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Steeda Firewall Adjuster, Double Hook Quadrant, and Adjustable Cable Hurst Shifter Prothane Urethane Transmission Mount Ford Racing Aluminum Driveshaft
Interior:
Custom Upholstered Recaro SE Seats Stroud 5-Point Harnesses Grant GT Wheel w/ Quick Disconnect Hurst Chrome Tall Shifter Handle w/ White Hurst Ball Autometer Phantom 5" Tach w/ ShiftLight New Black Carpet Kit Stock Rear Seat (but good luck getting in it) All interior panels and stock rear seat were carefully fitted around rollcage
Rolling Stock:
18x9" FR500 Wheels; Black w/ Polished Lip P245/40ZR18 Sumitomo HTRZII's Less than 100 miles on the set.
Misc:
Trunk Mounted Battery Fuel Pump Shutoff switch Baer Brakes Master Cylinder, Booster, and Adjustable Proportioning Valve
The Bad:
(1)The body isn't perfect; there are some dings, a couple of small dents, and the paint is slightly off-shade on one of the doors and both bumpers (I swapped these parts because they were in better shape than the ones that were on the car and I was planning on going to Maaco). I still might paint the car if it doesn't sell right away.
(2)The gauges in the stock instrument cluster don't all work (I am trying to fix this right now).
Anyway, I'm sure I've forgotten some things, but that get's you the basic idea. This car is ready to go out and dominate the road course, or drift around your favorite canyon. You will not find a more well-sorted, expertly assembled fox body for any price. I have worked in racing and high performance shops in the past, and have over 10 years of professional mechanical experience. I was building this car with the intention of keeping it, so you can be sure that it was built right. I even have a fastener checklist with torque values that I used when I went through the car on assembly. It is SOLID!
I'm asking $10,000 obo for this car, because that is what I have wrapped up in just suspension, steering, brakes, and chassis stiffening. Basically you buy all of that and the rest of the car is free!
Feel free to email me with any questions!

Hey Casey what's up so your almost done huh just paint it and drive it. I think the best way to advertise is to drive it. Usually when you don't want to sell it and just driving around is when people ask about it. Good luck

BTT...
PLEASE!!!
Read my ad before emailing me. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. I just exchanged SEVERAL emails with two different members, both of which didn't see my $10k asking price. I might be willing to negotiate my price, but this is not a $3,500 notch...so don't waste my time if you aren't on the level.
PS-I have a hood, and a few moldings still left to install on the car. More exterior shots to follow, but whoever buys this car isn't going to buy it for the exterior anyway.

TTT for a bad ass coupe.
If I was you I would just paint it and keep it dude.
I'm sure you put in ALOT of hours of you're life that you will never get back building this coupe.
And also, it would be a bitch to have to do it all over again.

Just FYI; I will consider partial to full trades for some classic cars, E36 BMW m3's, late 90's to early 2000's Porsche Boxsters, C5 Corvettes, etc. I will consider a VERY partial trade (like up to $3,000 off my price) for a good condition, lower mileage Nissan or Toyota 2WD pickup truck.

As I said before, I am open to offers...and suggestions. I am thinking of going the eBay route. Has anybody ever tried that, and how much success did you have with it?

Just posted up on Corral...I'm gonna give the car one week there, and then I think I'm gonna do an eBay listing (I will set a reserve $1,000-2,000 below my current asking price). I'd really like to see the car stay in Northern California, so if you think you want it make me an offer. Me and my buddy have been working on a fun video of what this beast is capable of too...I'll have that on YouTube as soon as it's all edited together (can you say 70mph power-slide!?!). Also got the hood painted and installed. Here's a pic!!!

That's a clean look'n notch man ! I had an 87ssp with a built 347/novi2000 and a 10pt cage , corbeau racing seats , saleen/racecraft suspension , subframe cnnecters , tremecTKO 600 , alum driveshaft , m&m torque arm , panhard bar and tons and tons of other mods . The thing is to remember with these cars n actually not just mustangs but all cars is that no matter how hard you try you'll never get back what you put in to it when trying to sell . I know it sucks but that's just the way it is . N believe me , I took a serious hit on selling that mustang but needed the dough n had to take a loss on it . But anyhow , very nice car bro n GLWS !!!

Thanks for the compliments, and kind words. It sounds like your car was insanely cool. I can't imagine this thing with a blower.
The bottom line is, I am taking a tremendous hit at $10k, but I'm willing to go even lower than that if somebody brings a serious cash offer to the table. That being said though, I've sold quite a few fox bodies over the years, and I know roughly what a modded car of this caliber is worth, so I think that my expectations are pretty much in line with the price I'm gonna end up sellin this thing for.

Yea , I hear ya . I also have owned/sold more foxbody's than I care to remember and I know what kind of values they carry aswell . My point was that it's gonna be hard period to even get close as to what you may have into it .
