Just got it back from getting the headers made last night. Finished a few odds and ends and fired it up this afternoon.
Now for 500 miles on the clutch and back to the track for some cool weather racing

Very cool!
I'll be hitting the track as soon as I get my torque boxes reinforced. The upper reinforcements are bolted in and ready for welding and the lowers... well I had to send them back to the manufacturer for a slight modification. Should be here next week.
26x8.5 Mickeys are on their way (: Then I need to find some rims to mount them on and I am set!
WOOT!

Glad its running again, how does it feel are your other issues fixed. I'll be up there Saturday with my new toy. You can bring it down to PC to put some more miles on it and I can check it out.

If you nail a 10 on DR I will shit myself right in the stands! lol.
Me... I have taken a LONG 4 year break from the track while in college. Hoping to get back into it but I know I'll be rusty as all hell. Gonna be out on slicks for the 1st time...
Does Sac still have a scale? I need to weigh this pig and see where I stand.

In that case you might want to add a set of Depends to you list of things to bring to the track.

Thanks man. I remember talking to you out at Mustang Madness. There was nothing good happening for me that day. Racing with a 6k redline and no synchro's...lol

This time around I wan't even at the track at all while my car was down. So now with it running again it feel extra fast Anyway, I'm sure I'll be plenty rusty myself.
Oh yeah, and Sac does have a few scales now. If they are open or not, that is the question.

Small stuff. Electric water pump, standard volume oil pump, slightly larger cam, fixed the distributer and cam gears eating eachother and HOPEFULLY the car will now rev past 6400 so I can shift it where I should be. Also lost about 50 lbs out of the car.

I've gone a best of 1.65 on my BFG's with a hand full of 1.67 and 1.68's. I think they are working just fine for a 35 series sidewall
