A Challenge! (93Pony especially!) OK- How about this. We go to Advanced Dyno, run one pull for $25 each, and see what the Dynojet says? I would love to compare your wideband to the Dyno's. We can at least see the differential between cars.
Or are ya chicken? Bwwaaak bak bak, cluck cluck...

Think they will let me see how fast I can run on the dyno?
Thats about as close as I can come to making a dyno pull at this point [ February 04, 2004, 06:11 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

Sure. Lemme just hook up the PMS & dial in a few pounds of boost first.
Heather's car already dynoed 306/308RW.....so, you win.

Not from this side. Just like to have some fun! If you think the blue car makes more power due to it's weight, let's find out on the same dyno on the same day.
That's all.

Got $25 & some gas $$$?
I think the dyno is a waste of $$$.
To be quite honest I think your car will make more power on the dyno. That's were it was tuned. Heather's was not tuned on the dyno....so it won't make the most power on a dyno. It'll make the most power on the street where it is loaded down correctly. I think Heather's has a better 'street tune' then yours. Yours has a better 'dyno tune' then hers.
Based on weight/MPH at the track last Saturday it seems as though Heather's does make slightly more power. At least that's what the online HP calculators say.

Well, as I said on the Corral. I tuned on Fri, went to the track and ran 107mph, tossed The Air Adjuster I tuned with and spent the rest of the day tuning for mph on the track. Wasted $100. I will run as-is. Street tune vs. track tune. Level playing field.

I still think it'll come down to who has the leaner A/F on the dyno. I have a feeling they'll both be below 12.8....hell, I know Heather's will be unless I Fuck with it.
Fine. Set it up.

Have to be after I get back from deutschland. If you go lower than 12.8, isn't the going richer?
Bring your wideband, I really want to see how it compares.

Yeah, whichever setup runs leaner on the dyno will make the most power....since both will be below 12.8.
The wideband is going on my car for a while. The PMS came in today.

Geez- Mr moneybags! Have fun tuning.
Anyone else want to get some dyno runs? If we go prepaid, I can get $25 per run. He has a wideband O2, but does not do chips. In Suisun/Fairfield.

I bet I can make more torque then you, but you will make more HP then me. Unless I run in my underware and some one zaps me with a cattle prod

I would be down to go just to get an idea where my A/F ratio is. But then again, who really cares since my 331/AFR185/Custom cam combo is so fucking slow.

So when is the date, if it is after the 14th the white notch MIGHT make a apperance. The motor will be the same, I would like to see what the 3550 eats hp wise mark and i have a disagreement on this. I would also like to see what a short belt saves. [ February 04, 2004, 10:30 PM: Message edited by: jmcclesk ]
