Tonight at sac I was only hoping for 11.8's and to my surprise I ran 3 runs faster than that!!
Best run....
1.79 4.92 7.47 96.270 MPH 9.663
ET 11.51 MPH 122.12
No way in hell I thought Id ever trap over 120 and I did twice tonight. Track got really slippery as the night got colder, but I still had a load of fun.
BTW...Thats with a stock stall on a TNT 100 shot, MTI hammer cam, and Hooker long tubes on a 98 forumla WS6.

Congrats. With the cooler weather around the corner, people's ET's should be dropping and MPH increasing.

Get another 15mph on top of what you've already got & you'll be right there with the rest of the area's top dawgs.

Hey thanks guys. Im really happy with the car as it sits. I decided not to do that heads and cam from "DAREDVL" either. That might be alittle overkill and I still gotta drive this thing back and forth to work.
I already got a very good TQ converter (3800) in the works and up to the 150 shot. Whatcha guys think that will run??

I thought it was just the south sac area but the fastest people in the area are only running 11's? Anyways, I still want to run everyone to find out.

NM, I already know the answer.....
Chris, figure running about 1.45-1.55 60's on bottle with the TC if you can get it to hook then do your reduction in ET calculations from there. That should put you in the ballpark.
This is exactly what I plan for the Vette. No motor work, just a 150wet kit and a 3500 stall (No cam for me). Should be good for high 10's and still smog legal ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

F8LPONY There was nothing negative about my post at all and it was'nt your concern in the first place. Funny how people act tough behind a keyboard yet have nothing to say when they actually see you. So don't worry about my posts unless they are an attack on you please. I've probably been building cars and engines longer than you've know how to change your own oil.

Your right. My car has over 200rwhp so I doubt I'm welcome here anymore. Or is it that you've made yourself look like a fool so many times trying to clown me? Who knows. Since I'll be banned for stating the truth once again then I guess I'll have to wait and see if F8LPONY acts like an idiot in person like he does behind his keyboard. We already know the answer to that one though right?

How about since he has been building cars and engines longer than F8LPONY has known how to change his own oil yet his best time is a meager 12.4 @ 109.9 in an automatic??? ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) [ November 03, 2003, 02:32 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

Why ban Mach? He was joking around. Lighten up, even the guy he was talking about knew it was a joke. And 12's is very respectable for an all motor street driven car! [ November 03, 2003, 05:03 PM: Message edited by: kwikrob ]
