Impressive, now i'm going to go out and toss my v8 in the garbage and rush to the nearest ford dealer and buy a v6
Potential? A Geo Metro has "potential"
Seriously though, congrats.

this is where it gets messed up , tho...
i mean, the cage adds 100, maybe 200 lbs? gonna remove weight elsewhere or bump up the HP to get back into the 11s after the install?

Congrads on getting into the 11's. What are your plans for knocking off that next half second to get down to 11.50s?

pulley swap sounds so simple if it were a v8, no problem, but this is a v6 we're talking here...can they handle more power than what he's pushing now?
i have no idea, but i would think it's already pretty maxed out where it is.
i do seem to remember that the car weighs in pretty heavy. probably not going to be hard to find stuff to take out to get back to the present weight...
if it were only a rollbar, tho.
rollbar, padding, 5 pt harness, sfi jacket and gloves, sfi balancer, flywheel, clutch, bellhousing, schrapnel jacket for autos, prolly already have the driveshaft loop...arm restraints? window netting? not sure on those...
it costs a lot to go fast @ the track.
or should i say,

so i haven't hefted a rollcage since my 1/4 midget days...
regardless, my point was how can you make the car heavier and still expect to go faster. he did answer the question with MORE POWER.
good enuff.
btw, great times!
