Thats cool man. I'll be out there as usual. But just hanging out watching. Mark, (bunckmyfuncky), is going to be there with his N/A 4.6. I think he is going to be using my slicks. Might be a good run for the LS1 to try and chase him down

Damn, I guessed right. That LS1 would be doing some chasing down
114 is a impressive MPH. What are his mods?

It just has bolts on's really. Stuff like a TB, intake spacer, pullies, CAI, 4.10's, welded in mufflers, and high flow catted x pipe, etc. It sounds like alot. But the car doesn't even have headers...lol
This car has really made me rethink my opinion of the 4.6's. 105 MPH out of that setup is very doable. Dont see any full weight 5.0's doing that without even removing the intake/valve covers

yeah thats very impressive for a 4.6. But im still a 5.0 guy, actually if you wanna get techinical im an ls1 guy. But these 5.0's are fun on the street.......and taller deck height blocks makin 454's off 351's sounds like fun with a 5 spd and a 200 wet

It's been so long since I was at a track I have a stupid question tho. Do I need a helmet if I'm running completly stock?

What's up Kev? Yeah I'll be there. Not racing my car though. So I guess I'll have to releive you of your baby sitting Ash duties
How do those spec 3's work with a hydrolic setup?
Anyway, I'm on a motor building budget so that is why I haven't been and wont be running my car for a while. Oh yeah, don't worry about my new motor being fast....it will still have less cubes than yours [ December 03, 2002, 05:35 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

Remember '96-'98 SOHC GT heads flow similar to stock 5.O heads..... '99+ SOHC GT heads flow similar to GT40 heads

And how many Mustangs came w/ those heads and or intake from the factory? I think Drew's point is that for a stock, unopened motor, the new SOHC 4.6's are quite good (and down on displacement, too, compared to our revered 5.0's.) And Joe, how much did your car weigh when it went 105? How much does Mark's car weigh? More weight takes more power to accelerate...
