Well, we got the 2 ton vert Cobra into the 10's today, but not by much. I ran a 10.96 missing 4th gear, which I proceeded to miss EVERY RUN! I swear, I just can't drive a car with a T handle shifter to save my life!
All in all, it was a good day at the track. Lots of fast stangs out, not a lot of breakage, (sorry Mark ), and some new best times for a few members of the board. I will work on getting the list updated tomorrow, btw.

I took off early...I lost my oil cap thanks to another backfire. I wasn't paying attention and hit the rev limiter in 2nd. The car seems fine though. I just need a new air filter.
I think that's it for me and racing. What happened to Mark?

I hate rev-limiters! LOL
I have both of the stangs limiters set to 7500rpm. One we shift at 6600, the other at 6000.
I ran a new best & am happy with the new converter....seemed to do the trick. Still need to work on my 60fts though.....maybe just a bit more tire & it'll hook....hopefully.
1.679 60ft Launching at 1200rpm 10.52 @132mph & 106mph in the 1/8th.
Damn....I remember when the wife's GT was running no more than 105mph in the 1/4! My how things change.

No I don't think it's blown up. I still have full oil pressure and it sound's like something came loose in the valve cover's like hopefully a rocker came loose or something . On a good note I ran consistant 10.9's with a best of 10.906 & best MPH wAS 126.024.

Nice! I didn't see you back up that 10.98 on the first run of the day. 10.80's now with a little racegas & timing?

When you get it fixed and put some skinnies on that car you are going to pick up some good time.
Again, congads on getting in the 10's!

Hey, I had a few first today.
- 1st time I have ever ran a 10 while missing 4th
- 1st time missing more gears than I hit
- 1st time granny shifting to a 10 second pass
- 1st time hitting 2nd twice in one run
- 1st 127 MPH pass
- 1st 100 MPH in the 1/8
Now I just need to go 127 in the 1/4 and 100 in the 1/8 in my own car.
